Tisca Chopra, is an Indian film and television actress, most known for her film Taare Zameen Par (2007). Born on November 1 1971 in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh into a family educationists, Tisca Chopra, did her schooling in Delhi, where her father was principal of her school. Later she topped Hindu College, University of Delhi in English Literature, she also started participating in theatre in the college. While still at college, she started writing for several publications as also plays for an amateur theatre group and college festivals.After finishing her education, she moved to Mumbai, and trained in acting with theatre gurus Feroze Abbas Khan and Nasseruddin Shah.
